• Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) is the Air Force's only organization wholly dedicated to leading the discovery, development, and integration of warfighting technologies for our air, space and cyberspace forces.

• The Office of Naval Research (ONR) coordinates, executes, and promotes the science and technology programs of the United States Navy and Marine Corps.

• The U.S. Army Research Laboratory's Army Research Office (ARO) mission is to serve as the Army's premier extramural basic research agency in the engineering, physical, information and life sciences; developing and exploiting innovative advances to insure the Nation's technological superiority. Army Research Office sponsored projects include Malicious Outbound Network Traffic Detection.

• The Cyber Security R&D Center at the Department of Homeland Security develops security technology for protection of the U.S. cyber infrastructure. The Center conducts its work through partnerships between government and private industry, the venture capital community, and the research community. DHS sponsored projects include Botnet Defense.

• The mission of U.S. Army Geospatial Center (AGC) coordinate, integrate and synchronize geospatial information requirements and standards across the Army; develop and field geospatial-enterprise enabled systems and capabilities to the Army and the Department of Defense; and to provide direct geospatial support and products to warfighters. Army Geospatial Center sponsored projects include Geospatial Exploitation of Motion Imagery and Course of Action.
